WINTERS DANCE

Snowflakes had fallen, and you could taste the cold on your tongue. The ground below, hardened, yet somehow softened. You could sense the presence of the beauty that would spend the next few months WITHIN. A grand and vast world, of curated energy and love, completely STILL, present, nowhere else to go.

Snowflakes had fallen, and glossed over the roses. Funny, how we need STILLNESS to grow. To recollect and reflect on our Journey ahead. The world dances for SPRING, for newness, to be reborn.

I, however, dance for WINTER. The enchantment. To be blanketed by the very presence of my soul, and to stare at the depths of why I was called. I know warmth, because I have surrendered to the cold. I can feel the embrace of the sun, because I have walked barefooted across the freshly fallen snow.

Snowflakes had fallen, and you could taste the cold on your tongue. The season to see yourself through new eyes, greatly awakened by the softness of the wonderland you call home. May the warmth of your soul burn freely and WILDLY throughout the WINTERS cold.

Flowers

FLOWERS WERE ALWAYS TANGLED WITHIN THE STRANDS OF HER HAIR. 

Her feet, covered by the colours of the earth below. Love was the force that breathed her to move, and beauty was all she yearned for. 

The beauty of the elements, of oneness, adventure and a peaceful heart. The beauty of the WILD that completely encompassed her.

Past, Present, Future

Where do you place your focus? Where do your thoughts wander off too day to day? It's funny what thoughts dance through our heads, some days there are so many, they tend to completely blur all together. But our thoughts are our focus. Only we can change our thought patterns. If you were to catch yourself, and tomorrow was not a guarantee, or even an hour from now, because well, really, we only have the present moment at hand, would you change where you place your focus?

I know I would. I would not allow myself to worry about all the small B.S. that seems to take up most of my thoughts. I wouldn't waste my present because of my attachment to the past, or my need to control my future. They aren't real, you know? To fully grasp that one, has taken a lot of work and a total day to day process.

If all I had was my present moment (True story) I would be completely at peace. If I could fully let go of the need to return to The I am not enough pattern, I would soar. If I could allow myself to fully trust that I am supported, and loved, by a great source, I could release my fears, and the need to control the outcome of my Journey. I would expand beyond what I have ever known.

So, here's where I am at, sort of at a crossroads. I have grown a lot. I have learnt a lot. I have actually changed, a lot. But I am somewhat stuck. Not a permanent sort of stuck, but a need for presence. To allow myself to fly, to walk over the ledge, even when I have no clue what's below me. Or better yet, above me.

To fly, to soar, to expand, these have to be what the present moment's all about. We can't fly and soar, and expand from anywhere else, but yet we spend hours upon hours amongst who we were, or who feel we need to be. These fears are not real. We cannot control the past. We cannot control the future. But we can learn to be here, now, to focus on our now. We can choose to trust, and let go of some of the worry, some of the burden. We can choose to really LIVE, to really be ALIVE, because you can only really do that when you are present, when you have cleared away the blur of your thoughts.

That's my goal, my Tapas for the month ahead, heck, the day ahead, THIS MOMENT, here, now.
Presence. To catch myself when I wander, and to allow my breath to take me back to where I belong, where LIFE AWAITS me.

How you can connect and be present

~ Your breath. Connect to your breath. Close your eyes, allow your thoughts to calm down, as you become aware of all that surrounds you. Your breath  holds so much power. Allow yourself to open up to that power. 

~ Nature. Allow yourself to connect to all of the MAGIC that Mother Nature has to offer you. Nature grounds us, and when you seek to feel present, you must learn to ground yourself. 

~ Move your body. Allow your energy to move through you, whether you go for a walk, a run, or a Yoga flow, move your body any way that honours you. 

~ Awareness. Watch your Thoughts, your patterns. Once you allow awareness to come forth, you can observe the madness, and you can start to create peace.

Rose

There she stood, her heart had been at last, broken open. Cracked, raw, totally shattered. She had always thought a broken heart was means for sorrow, for heartache. What she had learnt, was that once her heart had been broken open, she could see clearly, and the past  had started to shed from the curves of her body, the same way a snake sheds layer upon layer. 

Maybe her heart had always been broken, and maybe all she really needed was an awareness, to be awakened to the constant ache that dwelled WITHIN the playground of her soul.  The constant ache that moved her to look up, to look through the fog. 

Clear eyes, and an open heart that had been full of messy chaos and lessons learnt. She had been cleansed, and she danced as her walls crumbled down all around her. She could have been fearful, she could have been stubborn and she could have chosen to stay small as a bud, too scared to start over, to relearn who she truly was. 

She could have been. But her soul longed to play, to dance, to run amongst the flowers.

And so she rose.

YOUR WILD FIRE WITHIN

Walk fearlessly towards love. Actually, run.
Run fearlessly, and FIERCELY.
Run, run so fast that the sound of your heartbeat echoes all around you.
Run towards love, and then dance, and move, and breathe for love.

Allow love to permeate your naked, raw self, allow love to fuel your INNATE, WILD FIRE WITHIN.
Allow love to create chaos, a BEAUTIFUL chaos. Allow love to change you, to open you up, to break you open.

Feel how love makes you feel. Feel every ounce of that CREATIVE energy that flows through you now. Feel yourself expand, feel your presence soar.  Feel love heal you. Feel how love can free you.

Your Anahata Chakra


Our heart's are so, so, powerful. We all know that. But we don't always go out of our way to connect to that space. Our heart's hold IMMEASURABLE amounts OF BLISS, AND JOY. They hold BEAUTIFUL secrets, and wonder beyond wonder. But they also hold sorrow, and sadness, and our deepest of LONGINGS. And they need our love and focus. They need us to keep them open, to breathe LIFE INTO THEM EVERY DAY. 

The heart's centre governs all of our EMOTIONS, and therefore, truly affects all aspects of our Journey. When we close our hearts, we block the beauty of our prana, of LIFE, of love. Do yourselves a favour and stay open. 

Whether you can connect to your Anahata chakra every day, or once a week, the peace and STILLNESS that comes from that open space cannot be matched. When  your heart beats flawlessly and moves to the natural rhythm of your soul, of your body, you start to attract love and abundance and harmony WITHIN YOUR LIFE.  An open heart, opens you to all of LIFE.  

So, here are my top 5 ways I connect to my heart's space, to my 4th chakra. 

1. Say to yourself, aloud, or WITHIN,' I am open & ready to RECEIVE love. I am open & ready to hear the true beat of my heart. I am open & ready to be fully open-hearted. ' 

2. Breathe. Easy one eh? We forget to more often than not. Take 3 deep, deep, belly breaths, and focus on your heart's centre, and really feel yourself open up to that space, to come back down from your head. 

3. For a sweet & gentle way to re-connect to your Anahata chakra on the run, place your one hand on your heart, and the other on your belly, for even a moment, and feel the BEAUTIFUL beat of your heart dance as your belly RISES up and down. (Feels so good!!)

4. Journal, Journal, Journal!! WRITE THAT SHIT DOWN!! All the good, bad, and ugly. Put all of your sorrows and heartache down on paper, and release them from your BEING. Maybe burn some sage, and cleanse yourself of what does not serve you, of what stops the free flow of your heart's energy. 

5. Love yourself. On the deepest level, yes, love yourself, always, but also love yourself every day. Nurture yourself, follow your BLISS. When we do what we love, and honour ourselves, our hearts feel totally ALIVE. Whether you seek solace WITHIN the warmth of a hot bath, a cup of herbal tea, a long heart to heart talk WITH A BEAUTIFUL SOUL SISTER, or a walk through nature's beauty, honour that, and go that space.

A pureness

There's a pureness I see, a pureness I feel, as I learn to look forward, rather than backwards. Where does that come from? I am not really sure. When we choose to be aware, and to be present, here and now, all of our wrongs, all of our burdens, and all of our wounds, lose the glue that held them to us. We can then LIVE from our present, and LIVE FROM A PLACE OF INTENTION, for the person we have become, or for the person we lost along the way.

So, what's your INTENT? How do you want to LIVE? What's your PASSION? WHAT DOES THE SONG OF YOUR SOUL SOUND LIKE? Can you be fearless and SING IT aloud for all to hear?

Pureness, presence, love, PASSION, Fearlessness, INTENT, and SOUL. They are what DRIVE me, they are my TEACHERS, and I am so grateful for them.
