Greatest Of Teachers

Rather then feel shame towards your shadow self, choose to acknowledge your shadows, to send them love. Allow them to be heard, and seen, for merely all they are, a shadow, a story. Allow your shadows to catapult you towards the LIGHT. Love, love, love them, all of them, even for the smallest of reasons, for the lessons they have taught you, or the awareness they brought you. And watch as they transform to be your greatest teachers + GUIDES. 

Our shadows, our ego, can be our greatest teachers, and our greatest GUIDES, so as long as we confront them. So long as we send them love. So long as we allow that energy to pass through us as gently as we can. If we choose the latter, and suppress and deny our ego, naturally, our shadows can become our masters, and we, puppets of our own fears. A false story that serves you no more. 

Allow love to lead you, to teach you, to be the water that cleanses you and allows your true self to FLOURISH, to grow, and to come forth, to take a stand, and step INTO THE LOVE THAT YOU ARE. Into your natural state of harmony and sacred BLISS + JOY. 

Love washes away all that does not belong, all that's not true.
May you be cleansed, free, and BEAUTIFULLY WILD. 

THE VIEW THAT AWAITS ME

I am not always sure whether the path I am IS the best one for me. I mean, I do know, but of course my CONDITIONED self would have me BELIEVE another story completely. And I have found that the moment you can actually the energy of your heart's centre open, when you can feel your soul ALIVE WITHIN YOU, ego comes at you full force, naturally, because ego cannot breathe when you breathe from your soul, from your SPIRIT. 

I spent last weekend at THE I CAN DO IT 2014 conference, hosted by Hay House. I was surrounded by some completely wondrous souls, Dr. Wayne Dyer, CAROLINE MYSS, Robert Holden, NANCY LEVIN, Alex Woodard, ANITA MOORJANI, to name a few!! You could say the weekend was BEAUTIFUL, at the very least. 

I have spent most of my LIFE, IN ALL HONESTY, lost. Whether I had been actually aware of that statement or not. I had spent 23 years on a quest to reconnect to myself, to UNVEIL who I was, not the ego PROJECTED IDEAL of who I was, but me, my SPIRIT, at the depths of my core. There has been a lot of ups, and there has been a lot of downs. But here I am, about to celebrate my 25th year, and I now understand why I AM HERE. I now know that to have been lost, was a great GIFT. 

(Takes some REMINDING every now and then!!) I now know that all of those moments that brought me to my knees, well they were the MOUNTAINS I HAD TO CLIMB, so that I would be able to clearly see THE VIEW THAT AWAITED ME. 

Once the conference was over, I knew I had a lot to reflect on, I knew a lot had been brought to the forefront. And what stood out the most, after almost nearly every speaker, was YES. YES to my path, to my Journey, to the MOUNTAINS I HAVE CLIMBED and to the ones I have yet to embark on. THIS was why I am here. Not only to reconnect to myself, to my BEING, my SPIRIT, but to hold the hands of others who walk the same Journey, of those who have found themselves at the bottom of a MOUNTAIN. 

There's a strong BELIEF that we are all separate, that we have to walk alone, or stay WITHIN OUR DESIGNATED CIRCLES. But we are ONE, we are SO INNATELY connected. We all have our own path that has been created for us, but we can walk together, hold one another up, hold each others hands as we RISE from the ashes. We can be each others greatest healers, and soul lovers.

I looked around at all of the people who were there, all ages, male & female, all walks of life really, and yet we all yearned for the same. We all wanted to know we are loved, that we are worthy, that we have a 'spark of god' WITHIN ourselves. So how could we be separate? I knew as I left Vancouver, and made my way back to my humble ISLAND, that I had to honour my FIRE-LIT SPIRIT, that I had to honour the call that has become so very clear WITHIN me, to fearlessly love myself, and all of those I encounter. I may not have always known what the UNIVERSE had IN STORE for me, but my God,  the truth that LIFE IS SO COMPLETELY BEAUTIFUL, feeds a hunger WITHIN MY SOUL. 

And Do You Dance?!

What's beneath your surface?! Can you sense that there's a depth to you, a depth so profound, so deep WITHIN, that you have often forgotten the very presence of your soul's FIRE? What LIGHTS you up and causes your heart to explode from complete and utter PASSION and DIVINE energy? That DIVINE energy that courses through your body at every 'awakened' moment. Who are you?! And what do you stand for?! 

What's the essence of the courage that moves you to dance along the waves of your dreams?! And do you dance?! Do you honour your body and the way you yearn to move?! Do you watch your soul SISTERS and brothers from afar as they play amongst the Ocean's JOY? And do you wonder why you have yet to feel the art of surrender?! Why you have yet to feel worthy to play amongst them? Worthy to let go, to dance, to connect, to rest, and to laugh. Do you?

What's the part of you that wants to keep you small? To play safe, to dream small, to settle, to close the door on your truth, on your soul's cry for FREEDOM, and throw the key away? Where does that come from, and how does that make you feel? Can you feel that? The way your breath shortens and your heart burns? Can you locate the part of you that sabotages your true self, and your DIVINE presence?

What's beneath the surface? What's down deep, WITHIN your depths? The answers to who are you, and what do you stand for, they are located WITHIN those depths of your BEING, and can be accessed at any moment. The moment you make a CONSCIOUS CHOICE to say YES TO JOY.

Are you ready to go deep? To actually get to know yourself, who you are the very core of your soul, and to lay down, and get DIRTY, to learn what you stand for? Because once you do, you'll look around and see yourself through brand new eyes, the world through brand new eyes, and what you used to see as dull, now has an ever present sparkle that you cannot deny. When you choose to go beneath the surface, shadow work as some would say, you unleash the very truth of who you are, love. And once you have unleashed love, your soul's FIRE can soar, and you may very well come to hold the very answers you seek. So, who are YOU? And what exactly do you stand for?
